Head bangers are flocking to Fortnite for the new Avenged Sevenfold collaboration. But what exactly is Avenged Sevenfold doing in Fortnite? Here’s what we know about the collaboration.

To the surprise of some, the Avenged Sevenfold collab is not within Fortnite Festival, the music-based game mode. Instead, it appears to be a new free-for-all map in Creative Mode. Here’s a look at their Fortnite game, We Love You.

Usuing Unreal Editor For Fortnite, Avenged Sevenfold has announced a brand new Fortnite map in Creative Mode. The map is home to a game mode called We Love You.

We Love You is a free-for-all map but there is a bit of a twist inspired by the band. A max of eight opponents will be fighting to eliminate each other after spawning in different sections of the map with various weapons around them. You can carry two weapons and pick up ammo. When you eliminate an opponent (or are eliminated yourself), you will hear some music-related sounds.

“We have created a ‘free for all’ style map based off of the music video for ‘We Love You.’ We find this opportunity exciting and are happy to be one of the first musical acts to take advantage of this platform,” the band wrote on X. “In the coming months we will be releasing a social hub as well as other games. Jump into the Discord to play with other fans, create tournaments, find easter eggs and report bugs. The band will be in there playing all weekend. This is the beginning of something very new and cool and we want to thank the Epic team for helping us navigate this process. Jump in, have fun and get some kills.”
