The EMEA VALORANT scene is more competitive than ever, which means it’s more difficult to show that Guild Esports is the best in EU. That being said, it’s been smooth sailing for former CS:GO pro William “draken” Sundin and his team Guild. They secured a spot at the VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA Challengers playoffs after taking down Fnatic in Week 1 of the event, and many are expecting them to make it much, much further.

However, despite his achievements across two Tier 1 FPS titles, things aren’t always easy for draken. He recently had to leave Guild for a short period for personal reasons. Draken opened up to Upcomer’s  Yinsu Collins and Tyler “Fionn” Erzberger on this week’s Showstopper and spoke about the decisions behind his return to competitive VALORANT.

Additionally, after missing out on Masters Reykjavík in Iceland, draken declared Sentinels as the best team in the world. He shared that he’d also like Guild to make it to Masters Berlin so that he can get some revenge on their previous head to head in scrims.

Last but not least, on this week’s “Roast Your Tier list,” draken made a case for why pineapples do, in fact, belong on pizza.
