The XM4 has been rising up the weapon ranks in Call of Duty: Warzone since the reloaded update arrived last month. Viewers of Twitch streamer Symfuhny might have seen him use the XM4 quite extensively – it’s one of his go-to loadouts on Fortune’s Keep. This isn’t without reason, as the Cold War assault rifle can absolutely shred enemies no matter the map. However, if players want to use the XM4 like Symfuhny in Warzone, they’ll need to equip its best loadout.

The XM4 was one of the most popular weapons one year ago when Cold War was the main game in Call of Duty. However, as Vanguard came along, the XM4 fell to the wayside and was not truly picked back up until a few months into 2022. Now, as we approach Season 5 of Warzone, the XM4 is receiving much more attention thanks to its ever-steady stats and complementary set of attachments.

Best XM4 loadout in Warzone

Compared to other meta assault rifles in Season 4 Reloaded, namely the KG M40, NZ-41, and Cooper Carbine, the XM4 doesn’t have many disadvantages. It features strong damage range, mobility, and accuracy, traits that aren’t often found in combination on an assault rifle. The XM4 can only achieve all of these strong stats with its best loadout, however.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: STANAG 60 Round

This loadout has not changed in over a year and for good reason. Every pertinent stat for an AR in Warzone is boosted. Damage range and recoil control are improved with the Agency Suppressor, 13.5″ Task Force barrel, and Field Agent Grip. The Axial Arms 3x is the perfect mid-range scope while the STANAG 60 Round ensures players can take on multiple enemies at once without needing to reload.

The XM4 might not be as firmly in the meta as other ARs, but its Warzone loadout is difficult to beat.
