The Vargo-S is the latest weapon to arrive in Call of Duty: Vanguard, coming with the Season 4 Reloaded update. Players can unlock the Vargo-S assault rifle extremely easily, as they only need to get 15 close-range kills using any weapon. Once players have unlocked the Vargo, they can immediately begin leveling it up and eventually equip its best loadout. There’s some confusion as to what attachments are considered meta for the new AR early on in Season 4 Reloaded. However, we have put together a solid Vargo-S loadout for Vanguard specifically. This differs from the recommended loadout for Warzone, which fans can check out in another guide.

The loadout for Vanguard is more focused on speed, as multiplayer is much more fast-paced than battle royale. However, adding mobility won’t take much away in terms of accuracy or damage range; in fact, players will have the same accuracy they would using the Warzone loadout. While damage range is reduced, gunfights aren’t typically spaced out enough for that to make a major difference.

Best Vargo-S loadout in Vanguard

In Vanguard multiplayer, having a mobile and high fire rate assault rifle is the name of the game. The Automaton, NZ-41, and STG44 all feature these qualities and they currently represent the meta for the AR class. In order for the Vargo-S to compete with them, it needs specific attachments.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Nazaryan 3366mm AG
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Gabrielyn LP 33
  • Underbarrel: Mark IV Skeletal
  • Magazine: 7.62x54MMR 60 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

First up, adding the Gabrielyn LP 33 stock and Mark IV Skeletal underbarrel greatly increases the Vargo-S’ mobility. This is followed up by a damage increase thanks to Vital and the 60 Round Mags. Finally, fire rate is increased with the Recoil Booster and accuracy is slightly boosted with the Hatched Grip. All in all, this Vargo-S loadout should be able to be compete with the best that Vanguard has to offer.
