Prior to the Season 5 update in Call of Duty: Warzone, the Striker 45 was one of the least-used weapons in the entire game. It was a DLC weapon from the Modern Warfare days of Warzone, and players didn’t use it back then when it initially arrived. Fast forward to today’s Warzone, and even fewer players used the submachine gun. However, Raven Software decided to breathe some life into the weapon when they buffed it in the Season 5 update. After those buffs, the Striker 45 is now actually a viable SMG in Warzone — provided you’ve got the right attachments.

The Striker 45 didn’t receive the largest buff in the Season 5 update. Raven only boosted some of its damage profile, mainly in the upper body region. The exact buffs are as follows:

  • Neck Damage Multiplier increased to 1.15, up from 1.01
  • Upper Torso Damage Multiplier increased to 1.12, up from 1.01

While this might not seem like much, these buffs do allow the Striker 45 to kill faster when players aim for an enemy’s upper body. Of course, in order to achieve the Striker 45’s full potential, players will need to use the SMG’s top loadout.

Best Striker 45 loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 300mm Poly Barrel
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: XRK Gen III Survivalist Series
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mags

As always with a Modern Warfare weapon, the loadout starts off with the Monolithic Suppressor. This is followed up by the 300mm Poly Barrel, which gives the Striker 45 extra bullet velocity and damage range, the two stats that are also boosted by the Monolithic Suppressor. The Tac Laser helps the Striker 45 stay on target and improves the SMG’s ADS speed. Finally, the XRK Gen III Survivalist Series stock also increases the Striker 45’s ADS speed, giving it a huge jolt in mobility.

While it’s not the best SMG in Warzone Season 5, this Striker 45 loadout is certainly viable as a secondary weapon.
