The STB 556 has never truly broken into the meta of Call of Duty: Warzone. While it was somewhat used when the game was first released, other assault rifles quickly began to emerge and players realized it simply wasn’t as strong as them. The same can be said for the STB 556 in Season 6 of Warzone, the rifle still has a decent loadout you can use to change your gameplay up.

The biggest attribute the STB 556 has going for it is its higher mobility. When paired with its already decent damage range and accuracy, you have a strong mid-range weapon that can also be used to take on some close range opponents.

Best STB 556 loadout in Warzone

Compared to other meta assault rifles in Warzone, like the Kastov 762 and TR-76 Geist, the STB 556 stacks up quite nicely; it has great range and fire rate paired with little recoil, making it a stronger contender than other ARs in the class. The STB could use some buffs if it really wants to contend for the meta, though. Those buffs can be easily applied on the AR’s loadout.

  • Muzzle: Echoless-80
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Stock: Bruen MX9 Stock
  • Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip

The loadout begins with the trusty Echoless-80 muzzle, which is a suppressor that increases recoil control and damage range while only slightly lowering mobility. Luckily, the rest of the loadout makes up for that nicely with the STIP-40 Grip and Bruen MX9 Stock. Those attachments boost stats like aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time.

The 5.56 High Velocity ammunition increases bullet velocity and the Aim OP-V4 optic is meant for mid to long range gunfights. While the STB 556 won’t beat your meta assault rifles in Warzone, it is an enjoyable weapon to use if you’re looking to change things up.
