Modern Warfare weapons have returned to the fold in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. The trend to the older guns started with some Modern Warfare guns being buffed in the Season 4 Reloaded update. This led players to start using weapons like the VLK Rogue, Kilo 141, M13 and more. Once this happened, players began to also start using MW weapons that weren’t even buffed in the reloaded update. One weapon that’s grown more popular in recent weeks due to the Modern Warfare resurgence is the PKM light machine gun. The PKM wasn’t picked too much prior to Season 4 in Warzone, but now its loadout is starting to gain traction.

The main reason behind the PKM’s newfound popularity is a new WhosImmortal YouTube video. The YouTuber pegged the PKM as one of the best long-range options in Warzone Season 4, and more and more players have been trying the LMG out for themselves recently.

LMGs have always been a favorite of players for long-range gunfights, and the PKM certainly fits the bill. It has little recoil and high damage, especially when equipped with its best loadout.

To see the full loadout for the PKM in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, keep reading below.

Best PKM loadout in Warzone

  • Barrel: 26.9″ Extended Barrel
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x
  • Underbarrel: Snatch Grip
  • Laser: Tac Laser

WhosImmortal uses this loadout in order to decrease the PKM’s recoil and increase its damage range while not sacrificing much else. However, there are also some attachments to improve mobility, which is desperately needed for any light machine gun in Warzone. The PKM is meant to be a primary weapon that players can use at a longer range. However, players will still need a secondary weapon, like the VLK Rogue shotgun or an SMG, to deal with any enemies at close range.
