The Kar98k, once again, is the top sniper rifle in a Call of Duty multiplayer. Vanguard returns the Kar98k and requires players to unlock it at Level 43. Once players do this, they’ll have to level it up quite a bit in order to get the most out of it. However, it’s worth it in every facet because the Kar98k is undoubtedly the best option in its class.
As one would expect, the Kar98k features excellent mobility along with great damage output and little recoil. It’s a quickscoper’s favorite tool in Vanguard and can also be lethal on some of the bigger maps in multiplayer. However, to get the Kar98k to that place, players must equip its recommended loadout in Vanguard multiplayer.
Best Kar98k loadout in Vanguard
The main goal of the Kar98k loadout is to increase its already great mobility and add some damage range and accuracy. Players might notice they get hitmarkers when using the Kar98k in multiplayer as they level it up. This is due to the sniper not featuring the best damage without some of its recommended attachments.

The biggest aspect of this loadout is mobility. The Reisdorf Wire, SMLE Pistol Grip and Fabric Grip all increase with sprint-to-fire or ADS speed, with more sprint-to-fire speed added. These attachments come with tradeoffs to recoil control and accuracy, though. The loadout rectifies this by adding F8 Stabilizer, which also adds damage range, and the VDD REO2K barrel. The barrel also increases the Kar98k’s one-hit-kill area and bullet velocity as well. The Lengthened Ammo type also adds bullet velocity.
Finally, the Saturn 1.35x Lens scope is the best option for quickscopers, which also happens to be the Proficiency in place. This gives players more accuracy as they first aim in. There are no real weaknesses with this Kar98k loadout in Vanguard, giving players a dominant sniper if they take the time to level it up.
