For as long as it’s been in Call of Duty: Warzone, the Cooper Carbine and its top loadout have been a part of the weapon meta. The Cooper was a Season 1 weapon from the Battle Pass, meaning most players have it unlocked and leveled up. This accessibility, plus the fact that the Cooper has remained one of the best-performing assault rifles, has allowed it to stay atop the meta for so long.

However, if players are curious about what the Cooper Carbine’s best loadout is, then we have you covered.

In the recent Season 5 update, the Cooper Carbine itself didn’t receive a nerf. However, two of its attachments did, the Compressed Rounds and 22″ Cooper Custom barrel. Both of these attachments were among the most popular for the assault rifle, so the devs effectively nerfed the Cooper Carbine this way. Despite these nerfs the Cooper has remained a top AR in Season 5. It’s even arguably the best AR given the substantial nerfs to the KG M40. In order for the Cooper to fully surpass the KG M40, though, players will need its best attachments equipped.

To see the full loadout for the Cooper Carbine in Warzone Season 5, keep reading below.

Best Cooper Carbine loadout in Warzone

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Gracey Rapid
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Cooper Custom Padded
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 9mm 60 Round Drums
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Brace
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Given the nerfs to both the Compressed Rounds Ammunition and the 22″ Cooper Custom barrel, we’ve replaced those attachments on the Cooper’s loadout. Instead, we have the Gracey Rapid barrel, which boosts fire rate, and Lengthened, boosting bullet velocity. These changes don’t make a huge impact to the gun’s performance, but players might find it slightly more difficult to control the Cooper than in seasons past. Still, the Cooper Carbine remains a top AR in Warzone even with some of its best attachments removed.
