AGO Rogue have signed support Hampus Mikael “promisq” Abrahamsson, sources told Upcomer on Thursday.

Competing in the Ultraliga, AGO Rogue earned their third title in the Polish European Regional League this spring and qualified to the European Masters main event. AGO Rogue then managed to reach semifinals of the competition, the only non-French organization to do so. They were eliminated by LDLC OL in a 3-0 sweep.

This was a decent result considering how support Leon Maximilian “Leon” Anton was unexpectedly replaced by support Mauno “beansu” Tälli. This happened right before the start of EU Masters for private reasons.

While keeping beansu for summer split was considered, AGO Rogue decided to sign former Astralis support promisq.

Promisq has played professionally for seven years and has made it back to the League of Legends European Championship two times. He also earned a a Mid-Season Invitation title with G2 Esports back in 2019. While promisq was a substitute to Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle back then, he did get some playtime during the regular season.

In 2020, promisq joined Astralis in the LEC. Although pretty close last summer, promisq and his team didn’t manage to reach playoffs. This spring Astralis finished 10th in the LEC. Astralis’ new support for this summer will be Lee “JeongHoon” Jeong-hoon.
