Substitute 100 Thieves VALORANT player Johann “seven” Hernandez has trialed with other teams, multiple sources told Upcomer.

Seven has trialed with Luminosity Gaming to replace Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond, who is also exploring options outside of LG. A deal has not been completed, however, and the 100T sub will likely trial with other teams.

100 Thieves has not made it clear to the player if he will be starting for the roster next year, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. As such, Seven will explore options to start on a roster. 100T will build around the core of Spencer “Hiko” Martin, Ethan “Ethan” Arnold and Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk if Nick “nitr0” Cannella switches back to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as first reported by Upcomer on Nov. 12.

Fellow North American organization Team Liquid is the most likely destination for Nitr0 if he leaves 100 Thieves, according to a report by neL. This would bring to an end his tenure in VALORANT.

100 Thieves, one of the biggest organizations in North America, has made several changes following their third-place finish at the VALORANT Championship Tour Masters in Berlin, Germany, which concluded on Sept. 19.

The organization replaced in-game leader Joshua “Steel” Nissan prior to their appearance in the NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier, which concluded on Nov. 1. Analyst Aaron “b0i” Thao was brought in to play for the team at the event, while Seven was signed as a substitute.

100 Thieves lost to eventual runners-up Rise and eventual-winners Cloud9 Blue during the event, however, and were eliminated in the lower final. This meant 100T missed out on a place at Champions, the most anticipated VALORANT event of the year.

If Seven leaves the team the organization will field the following roster:

  • Hiko
  • Ethan
  • Asuna
  • Nitr0
  • Jovanni “Jovi” Vera (analyst)
