Riot Games has announced several price changes coming to League of Legends: Wild Rift on Sept. 8. These changes are related to regional prices and global currency bonuses. From time to time, Riot examines global pricing and adjusts its in-game pricing system to reflect all regions currency and taxation changes.
Starting Sept. 6, Brazil, Latin America and Russia will see increased prices due to tax changes and exchange rates. This change will not only take effect in Wild Rift but also in League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics.

While Brazilian, Latin American and Brazilian players will face price increase, European players will see decreased prices. This is due to favorable changes in exchange rates across Europe. Riot will allow players to receive double bonus in-game currency from all virtual purchases. All players are allowed to benefit from this double bonus currency scheme even though they’re not in affected regions.
So, from Aug. 23 to Sept. 8, purchasing a Wild Core bundle will grant players double the usual bonus. Each region’s Wild Rift price changes differ with Brazil and some Latin American countries having high increases. The changes are as follows:
- Brazil: +15% average price increase
- Colombia: +12% average price increase
- Costa Rica: +8% average price increase
- Uruguay: +17% average price increase
- Peru: +15% average price increase
- Russia: +6% average price increase
European players will get a minus 5% average price decrease only if they use euros, Hungarian forint or pound sterling currencies. Since these changes are periodic, they could still increase or decrease depending on Wild Rift’s regions and their economic situation.
League of Legends: Wild Rift continues to see success among mobile users with its recent introduction of Thresh to the game. Wild Rift Patch 2.4A also introduced the Pulsefire Thresh skin as well as Dark Star Kha’Zix and Varus. The price changes should be part of Wild Rift’s next patch update for the mobile game.
