The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet re-introduced many fan favorite Pokemon back into the main series. Feebas, one of the hardest Pokemon to catch in its debut generation, makes its return in Kitakami, allowing players to obtain the beautiful Milotic.

This ugly fish has a notorious history in the Pokemon series by being one of the rarest Pokemon to find and catch, but luckily Scarlet and Violet have made it much easier to locate. Still, it can be a bit tricky to find if you don’t know where to look in Kitakami.

Here’s how to find and catch Feebas in the Teal Mask.

You can find Feebas in one location in Kitakami – under the Crystal Pool on Oni Mountain. This location is hidden in the mountain through a network of caves.

To get to the Crystal Pool, you can fly back to it after your battle against Milotic during the Teal Mask’s main story. From the fast travel point, cross the bridge and head towards the raised surface on the edge of the pool. Walk around the back here to find a cave and head inside.

Drop all the way down to the bottom of the cave, then head south down another tunnel. Drop down the next hole into a pool of water. From here, swim west into another cave which is full of water containing wild Barboach, and Whiscash.

If you look carefully, you’ll spot another fish Pokemon swimming around, which will be none other than Feebas.

How to Evolve Feebas

Feebas is the definition of lackluster in every single way, but the real prize for catching it is evolving it into Milotic. Thankfully, this evolution is much easier in recent generations, simply requiring Feebas to be traded holding a Prism Scale. You can find one on the ground in the Fellhorn Gorge in Kitakami.
