The next set in the Pokémon TCG is coming in January 2024, featuring a plethora of new shiny Pokémon. This new set, known as Paldean Fates in English, will be released as a series of special products across January and February of 2024.
Paldean Fates, similarly to previous special sets like Hidden Fates, will be focused on shiny Pokémon. There are reported to be over 130 Shiny Pokémon coming to the TCG. Shiny Pikachu, Shiny Ceruledge, Shiny Tinkaton, Shiny Dondozo, Shiny Tatsugiri, and many more will be introduced with Paldean Fates. In addition, the expansion introduces Shiny Tera Pokémon ex — including Shiny versions of previously released chase cards like Charizard, Forretress, and Espathra — as well as more Ancient and Future Pokémon ex.
