OTK Network has partnered with WePlay Esports, a tournament organizer, as their production partner and strategic investor. The announcement was made on Tuesday via Asmongold’s Twitch stream.
OTK will make use of WePlay’s Los Angeles studio for live programming, including their upcoming OTK Games Expo. The intent is to give OTK a means of upping their production level by using a professional tournament organizer that has experience in developing live events within esports.
“We’ve really tried to push the envelope over what content creation can be,” OTK’s COO Tips Out said during the announcement. “Moving forward, we’ve got an awesome production partner to help us out with that.”

The WePlay studio boasts augmented reality capabilities that OTK plan on incorporating into their live entertainment. The studio can support a live audience of 143 people, according to the announcement. Besides the main stage, there will also be a casting/analyst desk on an upper floor.
“It’s incredible to think that a year and a half ago, we were all at Esfand’s house with one camera and a dream,” Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo said.
OTK plan on bringing pre-existing programming, like Mizkif’s shows “Schooled” and “Parasocial,” into the studio. There are also plans to develop new shows that will take place in the studio, according to the announcement.
The previously announced OTK Games Expo will now be held in the WePlay studio. The event begins at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday and viewers can watch it on Asmongold’s Twitch channel. More than 30 different games across genres and platforms will premier at the expo.
WePlay Esports is a Ukrainian tournament organizer owned by WePlay Holding. They have run events primarily in games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. Some of the tournaments include the WePlay AniMajor in Dota or the Academy League in CS:GO.
