A new leak has surfaced suggesting that a sequel to the crossover platform fighter Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is in development and will be officially announced in the near future. Twitter user @StevenSQHeaded shared the NASB 2 leak on Monday.

The leak includes what appear to be screenshots of the game’s official box artwork, which prominently features a character who did not appear in the first NASB game: Jimmy Neutron, the main protagonist of “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.”

Alongside Jimmy Neutron, three more newcomers can be at least partially seen on the cover art: Squidward Tentacles from “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Raphael from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and Vlad Plasmius from “Danny Phantom.”

Another portion of the NASB 2 leak appears to show Danny Phantom using a brand new attack that involves a sword. Meanwhile, the box art also shows off the following returning fighters:

  • SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Patrick Star
  • Korra
  • Garfield
  • Jenny Wakeman

More about the NASB 2 leak

The most recent NASB 2 leak is not the first leak that purports to show gameplay screenshots of an upcoming Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl sequel. A leak in January suggested that Squidward would be a new fighter, depicting one of his attacks along with his losing animation and what could be a taunt. That leak also showed Patrick using a new move that involved slamming his rock home.

As of now, neither leak has been officially confirmed as legitimate. However, Twitter user @Kappen_Chap shared what was reportedly a screenshot from the Instagram story of “El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera” creator Jorge Gutierrez. The story hinted at “El Tigre” characters coming to a “certain fighting Nick game,” which at the very least lends further credence to the existence of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.

In addition, the first NASB title was no stranger to leaks. The existence of the game was leaked online three days prior to its official reveal on July 13, 2021. Then, after its reveal trailer launched, every new character announcement was leaked in advance except for April O’Neil and the final three downloadable characters: Jenny, Hugh Neutron and Rocko.

It’s worth noting that, between NASB and the Nickelodeon Kart Racers series, Game Mill Entertainment published a crossover Nickelodeon game three years in a row from 2020 to 2022. If this pattern continues and NASB 2 follows the same reveal cycle as its predecessor, fans could expect to see an official announcement early next month and a full game launch in October.
