Ali “Myth” Kabbani has become the latest content creator to make the jump from livestreaming on Twitch to YouTube, the streamer revealed in an announcement Monday. The former Fortnite pro will exclusively stream on YouTube beginning Tuesday.
Myth made the announcement in a minute-long video that outlined all the life choices he had made leading up to his decision to stream exclusively with YouTube.
“Decisions have made me who I am,” the 23-year-old American said in the video. “And this is my decision.”
Myth’s announcement comes just days after OfflineTV content creator Lily “LilyPichu” Ki revealed that she would be making a similar transition to YouTube. They join the likes of Ludwig Ahgren, Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, Tim “TimTheTatman” John Betar and more as streamers that have been brought over to YouTube from Twitch.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be making the move to YouTube,” Myth said in a press release. “Ever since I decided to make gaming and streaming my full time focus, my passion for entertaining and community building has only grown. I’m really looking forward to developing the culture of live-streaming on YouTube and their support for my content, brand vision, and community will enable me to do more of what I love.”

Although Myth began his Twitch streaming career playing Epic Games’ Paragon, his popularity ballooned following the release of Fortnite. From January to June 2018, Myth’s stream grew from a few dozen average viewers to tens of thousands. In recent months, his streaming numbers have declined to a more sustained 3 to 4 thousand viewers, according to TwitchTracker.
Over the course of Myth’s streaming career, he has accumulated 96.8 million hours watched and 11,185 hours streamed. At the time of publication, he has 7.45 million followers on Twitch.
Myth’s YouTube account actually precedes the start of his Twitch streaming career. He started posting videos to YouTube in 2013 and only began streaming on Twitch in 2016.
For a long time, Myth was one of Team SoloMid’s largest content creators. Only in December 2021 did he announced that he would be parting ways with TSM. As of now, he does not stream under the umbrella of an esports organization.
