While it might not seem challenging at first, one of the tougher quests in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor involves you spraying Koboh matter at a wall on the Shattered Moon.
This quest starts off with you exploring the moon for information on Dagan and his supposed laboratory. However, during that quest, you will come across several blocked pathways and beams of light that are controlled by magical spheres. At one point, you will hop down into a room with seemingly no way out.
After some exploring, though, you will find a new upgrade for BD-1, which is the Koboh Grinder. This mechanism allows BD to shoot Koboh matter out of its head. Koboh matter is burned when it comes into contact with the purple and blue beams of light. So, in order to get out of the room you are in, Cal says that BD-1 needs to spray its Koboh matter at the wall where a beam of light is currently shining.
The problem is, players aren’t sure how to exit the room using this strategy. Here is the entire process so you can get on with the rest of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in no time.
Spraying Koboh matter with your grinder in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
After acquiring the grinder, you will get a prompt on the screen that tells you to enter BD-1’s visor, and then it will say to press a specific button to spray the Koboh matter. Naturally, your first response will be to shoot the matter directly where the beam of light is shining. While that’s partially right, it’s not all you have to do.
After you begin spraying the wall with Koboh matter, you want to then move to the right while still spraying it. Make sure that all of your matter is connected, as the matter acts like gasoline when it comes into contact with the beam of light. Your goal is to reach the black branches of matter that are covering the wall. Keep going until you reach the center of the branches.
Finally, all you have to do is wait until the Koboh matter has burned all the way to the right. In turn, this will burn off the dark branches from the wall, allowing you to scale up and reach the exit.
And there you have it, that’s how you can easily complete this quest and move on with the main story in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
