Baldur’s Gate 3 is full of dark moments and mysteries, and this includes the House of Hope. To get in, you have to perform a blood ritual. Once inside, you’ll find a lot of trapped souls and the Mystic Force Curtain. It may appear as just a yellow curtain at first, but it’s much more.
There’s a room locked behind the Mystic Force Curtain but you can’t just move the curtain and go into the room. It can’t even be lockpicked. So what gives? Here’s how to remove the Mystic Force Curtain in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Remove the Mystic Force Curtain
If you want to remove the Mystic Force Curtain in Baldur’s Gate 3, you first need to head to Raphael’s Archive room. Inside this room, don’t touch any loot you see at the altars. Well, unless you want a fight. Instead, speak to the Archivist.
Tell him that you want to get into the Orphic Hammer. While he’ll scoff at this at first, you can persuade or intimidate him. After this, the Mystic Force will be removed and you can simply head back and walk inside.
What’s behind the Mystic Force Curtain?
You’ll find Raphael’s room behind the Mystic Force Curtain. Inside his room is Haarlep. You can also restore some HP with the faucets here before heading upstairs and finding a secret passcode that will let you remove the magic surrounding the Orphic Hammer. Bring Lae’zel with you for this part since it’s part of a companion quest.
