With the launch of new expansion Lightfall, Destiny 2 has a lot more exotic items to try out. Out of all the new exotic weapons, here is how to get the Verglas Curve exotic bow in Destiny 2, a unique primary bow that does Stasis damage.

The Verglas Curve exotic explained

To start, here is a quick rundown of what the Verglas Curve weapon is. As mentioned earlier, it’s an exotic bow, used in the primary slot for your weapons.

What makes it unique, its exotic trait is that final blows with this bow give the user Stasis arrows. After getting them, the next hip-fire shot will shoot them all in a volley. With those Stasis effects, you can freeze enemies and line up easy headshots. This bow is more suited for PvE than PvP, but bow users can make it work.

Verglas Curve is free with the Premium Season of the Defiance Pass

The easiest way to get the Verglas Curve is to get the latest Season Pass. In it, the free exotic item you get at level 1 (after purchasing the Premium version of the pass) is the Verglas Curve. It is behind a paywall in this sense, but this isn’t the only way to get this powerful exotic bow.

Verglas Curve is free down the default Season of the Defiance Pass

If you don’t want to pay money to get the Verglas Curve, you can get it by grinding the free version of the Season Pass. Way down the pass, on the free version, the Verglas Curve is available at level 35.

Players have plenty of time to try and grind out the pass to get the item, with the Season starting with the Lightfall expansion release. The Season of Defiance ends on May 22, 2023.
