Early on in Nightingale, you need a plethora of different resources to craft a variety of structures, base stations, and other necessities to survive the wild. One of the primary resources you’ll continue to need for crafting recipes in Nightingale is Plant Fiber.

While the resource might seem easy to acquire, it can be quite difficult to locate, as its appearance changes depending on what Realm you’re in. This differs from other resources, as materials like wood, stone, sticks, etc. all look fairly similar no matter where you are. To see exactly how to acquire Plant Fiber in Nightingale, take a look at my guide below.

Getting Plant Fiber in Nightingale

For the most part, you’ll be looking for the “(Crude)” version of Plant Fiber, as it’s the most common and can be used in plenty of early game crafting recipes. However, it can be tricky to find even if you know what you’re looking for. Unlike sticks and rocks, Plant Fiber isn’t too abundant regardless of the Realm you’ve chosen.

Across all available Realms, you can find and harvest Plant Fiber by looking for the small, prickly bushes on the ground. These bushes won’t usually be too large and they often feature some thin branches with bland-looking flowers on the end of them. The bushes will also have a green hand and tool icon on it when you get close enough.

In the screenshot below, you can see what a Plant Fiber bush looks like in the Forest biome in Nightingale:

In the desert biome, the Plant Fiber bush looks like a reddish version of that bush while the Swamp biome features something similar to the Forest’s Plant Fiber bush. As you progress in Nightingale, you’ll find better versions of Plant Fiber that go past the “(Crude)” variant, but you’ll be relying on the crude version for most of the early game. If you’re struggling to find Plant Fiber bushes, I recommend simply exploring the map more and keeping a close eye out. From what I can tell, there are no specific areas where the bushes tend to spawn more frequently.
