There are dozens and dozens of items that players can easily miss in Elden Ring. Whether you’re on your first or third playthrough, there will be some items on the map you won’t know are there until you’re told or shown. The Stormhawk Deenh Spirit Ash summons is one of those items. The summon is considered to be in the special category, so it will take some more advanced Gloveworts to upgrade through Roderika. However, it might be worth it to rain down a bird of death on your enemies.

In order to find Stormhawk Deenh, you need to acquire a specific item and visit a certain location in Elden Ring. Then, you will need to defeat a familiar boss and search in a dark corner of the map. Below, you can find all of the details about finding Stormhawk Deenh in Elden Ring.

Stormhawk Deenh’s location in Elden Ring

To loot this particular Spirit Ash, you’ll need to visit the Chapel of Anticipation. This is actually where you first begin Elden Ring. You start the game on the first floor of the chapel and then make your way out to battle the Grafted Scion, the tutorial boss of the game.

To get back to this location, you need to head to the Four Belfries in northwestern Liurnia. Here, you need to loot the Imbued Sword Key at the top of the hill. If you already did that and used the key on another portal at the Four Belfries, then read our previous guide on how to find another Imbued Sword Key.

With the key, you need to use the second portal from the bottom of the hill. It will have a message marked with the word “Anticipation” next to it. Once through the portal, don’t go into the area with the Grafted Scion. Instead, turn around and head to the chapel. Right before getting to the door of the chapel, take a right to open a door and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs there will be a room, which you can enter and find the Stormhawk Deenh Spirit Ashes inside of a treasure chest.

It costs 47 FP to cast Stormhawk Deenh and it can be upgraded using Ghost Gloveworts. For more helpful content, check out Upcomer’s comprehensive Elden Ring guide hub.
