World of Warcraft Dragonflight beta access

Champions of Azeroth who want to experience the World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion ahead of its launch should first opt in to become a tester. This can be done by visiting the Dragonflight landing page and scrolling all the way down to the “Beta Opt-In” button.

After pressing the button, players will get a chance to test out Dragonflight ahead of its release date. Players will also get news and updates about the game.

“Players who have opted-in can be selected to be a tester, and invitations will go out regularly throughout the test,” according to Blizzard. An email inviting the selected players to the beta should arrive in their email inbox.

To double-check the invitation, one can log in to their Battle.net account to verify the attached Dragonflight beta license.

A player must have an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time to be eligible for a chance at the beta access.

Launching the Dragonflight beta test

Next, the player must select World of Warcraft from the list of games. After clicking the drop-down menu right above the “Play” button, they should select the “Dragonflight Beta” and install it.

Once installed, simply click “Play” and choose one of the available test servers. Players can either create a new toon or import an existing one from Shadowlands.

If any installation or operation issues occur, then there is a Common Technical Issues and Solutions post on the Blizzard Forums that helps with troubleshooting.
