So, if you have a second controller, all you need to do is plug it into your console, give it to a friend in the same room, and you will both be able to play Diablo 4 at the same time on the same screen.
If you’re looking to try out Couch Co-op during Diablo 4’s beta weekends, there are some requirements you need to meet. For players looking to play on March 17 during the pre-order weekend, only one player needs to pre-order Diablo 4. Then, you can add a second player without having to pre-order the game a second time. Those who want to wait until March 24 during the free beta weekend, one player will at least need an active Battle.Net account linked to their console account.
If you meet those requirements, you will have no issue playing Diablo 4 in Multiplayer Couch Co-op. In addition to playing with a second person on the same account, you can also invite up to two other online players to your party.
