Fans of Modern Warfare were undoubtedly thrilled when they read the patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. Not only was new content added to the game, but a plethora of Modern Warfare weapons received buffs for the first time in months. Weapons like the VLK Rogue and Kilo 141 are now prominent figures in the meta thanks to their newfound stat increases. However, one other weapon that Warzone players might want to pay attention to is the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle.

The CR-56 AMAX, like the Kilo 141 and M13, is a Modern Warfare weapon that’s always been popular with fans. The only problem with using the weapon in the past was its strength; it wasn’t anywhere near as strong as other assault rifles. Vanguard ARs especially have outclassed the likes of the CR-56 AMAX ever since they were introduced. As such, it made no sense to use it unless players wanted to return to simpler times in Warzone.

That all changed once the CR-56 AMAX got its Season 4 Reloaded buffs. Raven Software chose to buff the AMAX quite significantly, boosting its minimum damage to 28 from 24 and its headshot locational damage multiplier by .04 points. Essentially, this means that players will kill much faster with CR-56 AMAX if they aim for the head and they’ll deal more damage no matter how far away they are from an enemy.

Best CR-56 AMAX loadout in Warzone

If players want to use the AMAX in Season 4 Reloaded, they should equip its top-rated loadout, which is viewable below.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mag

This loadout increases the CR-56 AMAX’s improved damage range along with its overall accuracy. Players will be able to mow enemies down at medium to long-range with this specific loadout. These attachments, plus the new buffs, make the AMAX a true meta contender in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.
