Yesterday, Sledgehammer Games, the developer of Call of Duty: Vanguard, revealed a wide variety of patch notes that detailed everything changed since the beta. While this mainly included changes to non-gameplay aspects, some alterations to the multiplayer perks in Vanguard were included.

The perks were at the center of discussions during and after the multiplayer beta. Fans wanted some changes and additions to the selections, mainly a Dead Silence Perk. After the huge controversy in Modern Warfare, players simply want the choice to run Dead Silence all of the time, instead of only having it as a Field Upgrade. It seems that Sledgehammer listened to this feedback and changed the perk selections in Vanguard in more ways than one.

Multiplayer perks in Vanguard

Prior to the launch patch notes releasing, fans knew most of the perks coming at launch. However, there were some gray areas that Sledgehammer has now filled in. This is highlighted by Ninja (Dead Silence) replacing Low Profile in the perk one slot and Dauntless also being introduced.

These additions have changed the perk selection coming to Vanguard at launch. Fans can see the updated full list of perks in multiplayer below:

Perk 1

  • Fortified
  • Survival Training
  • Ninja
  • Cold Blooded
  • Ghost
  • Dauntless*

Perk 2

  • High Alert
  • Radar
  • Forward Intel
  • Engineer
  • Tracker
  • Piercing Vision

Perk 3

  • Demolition
  • Overkill
  • Tactician
  • Double Time
  • Scavenger
  • Lightweight

The perk one slot is the list that’s changed the most. Ninja now slides in where Low Profile was in the beta and Dauntless supposedly goes in the last place. However, Sledgehammer didn’t confirm where Dauntless would be going in the perk slots. So, while the first slot makes sense, the developers could still move perks around before Vanguard’s launch.

Vanguard releases on Nov. 5 and will feature a plethora of content, including several game modes that are both familiar and new to players.
