The Teal Mask DLC brings a bunch of new content to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet including some Gift Pokémon. These Pokémon can be obtained after speaking with certain NPC’s in Kitakami and completing side quests. These involve mastering the Ogre Oustin’ minigame, completing Perrin’s questline and locating a familiar face once reaching Kitakami.

Here is everything you need to know about how to get all Gift Pokémon in the Teal Mask, such as Hisuian Growlithe or the Sinnoh Starters.

Shiny Munchlax with the Crafty Mark

To obtain a gift Shiny Munchlax, you’ll have to beat all 10 rounds of the Ogre Oustin’ minigame on the Hard difficulty. After completing this challenge, the lady at the counter grants you the Shiny Munchlax. This Munchlax is unique in that it comes with the Crafty Mark. Applying this mark grants it the title “Munchlax the Opportunist.”

Perrin’s Hisuian Growlithe

After completing Perrin’s Photography Quest Line, Perrin will ask to speak with you one last time just outside Mossui. She will thank you for helping catch the Bloodmoon Ursaluna and will gift you a Hisuian Growlithe along with a Choice Scarf. This is a fairly normal Hisuian Growlithe, however it comes with its Hidden Ability, Rock Head.

Perrin mentions that this Hisuian Growlithe is her Hisuian Growlithe’s younger brother. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, The Noble Pokémon of Cobalt Coastlands, Hisuian Arcanine, also had a weaker younger brother who took its place after it passed away.

Sinnoh Starter Egg

The final gift Pokémon is found by finding a familiar face in Jacq. Jacq is found After reaching Kitakami and exiting through the east side of Mossui Town until you cross a bridge and find a red arch. Under a nearby tree,  you can find Jacq who will gift you an egg with a random Sinnoh Starter.

The egg will contain one of the partner Pokémon from the Sinnoh region: Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup. The inclusion of these Pokémon is a neat little preview for Part 2 of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, The Indigo Disk, where all partner Pokémon will return to the games.
