A handful of players were able to get their hands on Capcom’s next fighting game during a closed playtest from October 7-10. Now, another closed beta is set to begin as even more players will get to try out the next entry in the Street Fighter series.

Players who made the cut for the closed beta may be wondering which fighters they will have at their disposal. During this brief early access period, competitors will be able to play as a mix of new and returning characters. Here’s an overview of all of the characters in the Street Fighter 6 beta.

The Street Fighter 6 beta will feature a total of eight playable characters. Of these, two of them are newcomers to the series as a whole: Jamie and Kimberly. The beta will also feature Luke, the lone character on the game’s box art. Finally, veteran fighters Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile and Juri will be in the closed beta.

While these are the only characters available for the time being, Capcom has already confirmed the game’s full base roster. The following 10 characters will join the Street Fighter 6 line-up when the game launches in June of 2023:

  • Blanka
  • Cammy
  • Dee Jay
  • Dhalsim
  • E. Honda
  • JP
  • Lily
  • Manon
  • Marisa

The second closed beta will become available at 3 a.m. ET on December 16. It will then stay open until 3 a.m. on December 19. Anyone who participated in the first playtest will automatically gain access to this one as well.

Meanwhile, emails have already gone out to others who were selected through a lottery system to participate in the beta. People who applied but have not received emails from Capcom before the beta begins did not make the cut for the beta this time around.

However, those who have been selected can check their emails for their download code. They should then make sure they are logged into the account on their selected platform that is connected to the Capcom ID they submitted when they applied for the beta.

From there, they can enter their download code into the code entry screen on their respective platform, whether that be PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S or Steam. Afterward, it should be no time before players are trying out all of the characters in the Street Fighter 6 beta.
