Throughout the event, we’ll be updating players with all they need to know regarding Spirit Bonds, Milestone Missions, and more. For this guide, we’re diving deep into what Spirit Petals are and what they do.
How do you earn Spirit Petals?
As players interact with their champion, they’ll be receiving favor that proves how strong the bond is. Players obtain favor by creating a strong relationship with the champion by getting to know them. For more details, you can visit our Spirit Bonds guide.
With enough favor earned, players can receive an S-Rank with their champion. As previously mentioned in our Missions guide, several Ranks need to be met before earning an S-Rank. Once at that rank, they can progress to special missions tied to the Spirit Tree.
Completing these missions grants players with spirit petals, which can go towards their S-Rank champion. Each progress made towards earning spirit petals is called Spirit Petal Growth. After earning spirit petals, players receive a unique emote and an unbreakable bond with their champion.
What are these special missions?
Each mission gives a certain amount of points towards Spirit Petal Growth. Completing each mission is important in order to earn a Spirit Petal. These missions are:
- Win a game of SR/ARAM/NB
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 2
- Lose a game of SR/ARAM/NB
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 1
- Play as a champion with their Spirit Blossom skin equipped in SR/ARAM
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 2
- Play as a champion who has a Spirit Blossom skin in SR/ARAM
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 1
- Win a game of TFT (Come in 4th or higher)
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 4
- Lose a game of TFT (Come in 5th or lower)
- Points towards Spirit Blossom Growth: 2
So how many points do I need to earn a Spirit Petal?
Unfortunately, players can only gift their Spirit Petals to a limited amount of champions. It’s recommended that players choose their champions wisely. Here is a list of Spirit Petal Growth points needed for each Spirit Petal that’s gifted:
- 50 spirit petal growth for the first spirit petal you can gift
- 110 total petal growth for the second petal you can gift
- 180 total petal growth for the third petal you can gift
- 250 total petal growth for the fourth petal you can gift (Premium Pass only)
- 320 total petal growth for the fifth petal you can gift (Premium Pass only)
