To no one’s surprise, Renault Vitality signed Scrub Killa to their Rocket League team. The wonderkid is seen by many as the most talented player to date, with several 1v1 and 3v3 titles to his name. He has consistently topped online leaderboards since the age of twelve. Fans were eagerly awaiting Scrub’s debut in RLCS and will finally get to see him put his skills to the test on the greatest stage next month.

With Freakkii’s departure from Vitality, Paschy90 and Fairy Peak! were looking for a third player to complete the team. However, it was an open secret that Scrub Killa would fill the vacancy, despite their various claims to the contrary. Especially the last few days the announcement was expected, with several teases happening on both Vitality’s and Scrub’s Twitter accounts.
They were considered to be one of the favourites to win the RLCS season five finals, but ended up at a disappointing 9th-10th place. The best finish Paschy and Fairy Peak ever managed at the RLCS Finals was second place in Season 2 and 3, respectively. With Scrub Killa they made an excellent step to finally claim the world championship.
