The Season 2 Reloaded update went live for all players yesterday in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Among the new content included in the update was a new multiplayer map, an add-on to the Path of the Ronin event, and a new weapon, the Tempus Torrent marksman rifle. The Tempus Torrent can be unlocked via an in-game challenge or by purchasing a new Store bundle with it included. Once players have unlocked the Tempus Torrent, they can level it up to eventually equip its best loadout for Warzone 2.
Many players have already been calling the Tempus Torrent the new version of the infamous DMR from the original Warzone. To be fair, the two weapons do share a lot of the same properties, as they’re both marksman rifles that shoot fast and have little recoil. While it remains to be seen if the Tempus Torrent can be as dominant as the DMR was, players can start by simply equipping the marksman rifle’s best set of attachments.

Best Tempus Torrent loadout in Warzone 2
- Muzzle: ZLR Talon 5
- Barrel: 24″ Outreach 4
- Optic: Aim OP-V4
- Underbarrel: Edge 47 Grip
- Magazine: 30-Round Mag
This loadout is extremely similar to the Tempus Torrent’s best loadout in Modern Warfare 2, and for good reason. Every major stat for a marksman rifle is buffed with this set of attachments, including damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control, and magazine size. Players won’t have much trouble downing enemies from up close or afar. They also won’t have to worry about much recoil, as there are three different attachments here to improve accuracy.
Perhaps the Tempus Torrent will become meta in the coming days, and if it does, it will likely be as a result of this loadout in Warzone 2.
