The FTAC Siege arrived in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with the Season 3 Reloaded update, and immediately became one of the best overall secondary weapons. The fully-auto pistol has since been nerfed and buffed a couple of times, but it remains one of the stronger options to have in your back pocket. However, if you want to take true advantage of the FTAC Siege in MW2, you need to equip its best overall loadout.

The FTAC Siege is fully automatic and has access to a large magazine, making it particularly strong at close to mid range. However, I would still recommend you keep engagements close with the FTAC Siege, as you don’t want a TAQ-56 or TR-76 Geist gunning you at longer ranges. If you must take on a longer range fight, though, my recommended set of attachments for the pistol will give you the best chance to win the engagement.

To see the best loadout for the FTAC Siege in MW2, check out the guide below.

Best FTAC Siege loadout in MW2

  • Barrel: Ratchet BE
  • Stock: FTAC Folder
  • Underbarrel: Rebel-HX
  • Magazine: 72 Round Drum
  • Rear Grip: FTAC Stead

This loadout will primarily help players out when trying to control the recoil of the FTAC Siege. However, there are also some mobility enhancements so you can run around the map quicker while using the pistol.

The loadout’s biggest boon is the 72 Round Drum, which makes the FTAC Siege a combination of a LMG and SMG at the same time. The pistol does have a high fire rate, though, so those 72 bullets won’t last as long as you might think. Still, you won’t ever have to worry about running out of bullets using this FTAC Siege loadout in MW2.

As a final note, you can use the FTAC Siege in the new Modern Warfare 3 and use this same loadout to great effect. However, you will need to change most of the rest of the class, as the perks have been entirely changed in the new multiplayer title. You can still use the same lethal or tactical as well as a similar secondary weapon. Of course, I suggest using some of the new content first so you can experience some of the fresh items in MW3.
