The Season 1 update in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 introduced the BAS-P to the submachine gun class. It’s basically a version of the SIG MPX, and it acts more like an assault rifle/submachine gun hybrid rather than a pure SMG. In multiplayer, this can cause some issues, as players are often put in a bind as to how they want to use the BAS-P. However, in Warzone, the BAS-P has a loadout that makes it a lethal gun at longer ranges.

Many players have decided to capitalize on the BAS-P’s close-range prowess after its many buffs following the initial release of the gun. This is due to the fact that it has a decent fire rate and mobility, so players can really melt enemies up close with the right attachments. If players are interested in using the BAS-P in this capacity, though, they need to use a select few attachments.

Best BAS-P loadout in Warzone 2

The number one thing that players need to remember when using the BAS-P is that they don’t want to get into far-away gunfights. They want to stay at close or mid-range to have the best success with this particular loadout.

  • Laser: VLK LZR 7mW
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro
  • Ammunition: 9mm Overpressued +P
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

The loadout begins with the VLK LZR 7mW laser and the Bruen Flash Grip, which are the two attachments that will boost mobility for the BAS-P. Both attachments improve aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. Paired with the BAS-P’s default mobility, you will really snap onto enemies using these attachments.

The 9mm Overpressued +P ammunition gives the BAS-P a little extra damage so they can kill even faster while in close or mid-range. The 50 Round Drum is in place to ensure players can stay in longer gunfights without having to reload too quickly and, last but not least, we have the optic, which is a basic red dot sight. You can use a number of other red dots but I like the Cronen Mini Pro the best for this particular BAS-P loadout in Warzone.
