In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, there are popular weapons, middle-of-the-road weapons, bad weapons, fifty feet of mud, and then the .50 GS. The classic Call of Duty weapon is currently the least-picked gun in the entirety of Warzone 2, according to WZRanked. At the time of writing, the .50 GS only has a 0.10% pick rate, which is .06% lower than the next highest weapon (LM-S).

There’s no doubt that the .50 GS is an unpopular weapon in Warzone 2, but if players truly want to use it, they’ll need its best loadout.

For players new to the Call of Duty franchise, the .50 GS used to be called the Desert Eagle. It’s one of the most iconic weapons in the entire franchise, and used to be one of the better pistols players could equip. In Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, though, the .50 GS is a difficult gun to use. It’s often outclassed by most other guns, no matter the situation.

While players can have some solid kills with it in Warzone 2, that requires players to hit consistent headshots and catch enemies off-guard. While we can’t hit those shots for players, we can provide a set of attachments that will give them the best shot to kill enemies using the .50 GS.

In order for players to consistently hit shots with the .50 GS, they’ll need an increased recoil control. The .50 GS also needs a significant bump to fire rate and damage range if players want any chance of killing enemies quickly.

This loadout, which improves damage range, recoil control, bullet velocity, and fire rate, gives players the best chance to take down enemies quickly in Warzone 2. However, players are still facing an up-hill battle whenever they use the .50 GS.
