On January 21 and 22, DreamHack and Blast announced the talent for each of their respective upcoming events. The talent lists include many experienced names known around the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) circuit, such as desk legend Chad “Spunj” Burchill. Also joining will be the young Canadian casting duo of Conner “Scrawny” Girvan and Mohan “launders” Govindasamy.

Dreamhack Open Leipzig on-air team

DreamHack’s first event of the year will feature Freya Spiers as the desk host at the $100,000 tournament. Also on the desk as analysts will be former CLG Red player Christine “potter” Chi and former LDLC player Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez.

The event will also feature two casting duos, with Scrawny and launders being the first. The second duo will be analyst turned caster Jacob “Pimp” Winneche and Vince “Vince” Hill.

Blast Premier Spring Series talent

Set to take place in London, former CSGO and Overwatch League caster Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat will be hosting the $300,000 event. Analyzing the gameplay will be famed analysts Spunj and Duncan “Thorin” Shields. This will be Spunj’s first event on the desk since the ESL Pro League Finals in early December in Odense, Denmark.

Casting the event will be Canadian duo Scrawny and launders, who will also be at DreamHack Open Leipzig. Iconic duo of Jason “moses” O’Toole and Anders “Anders” Blume will also be casting the action at Blast Spring Series. Meanwhile, James “BanKs” Banks will take on the role of interviewing players at his first-ever Blast event.
