The newest installment of Apex Legends has gone over relatively smoothly in terms of gameplay. Season 5 has stabilized the meta and ironed out many of the issues fans had. Also, the addition of Loba to the legend lineup has breathed some fresh air into the game. Of course, no new season will go off without at least one major hitch here and there. Recently, some fans discovered that there’s a huge problem with Loba’s hitbox in Season 5. According to the testing done, it could be considered game-breaking and puts Loba mains at a huge disadvantage.

The hitbox for Loba needs an adjustment

If you’re unfamiliar with what a hitbox is, it’s essentially the area in which a character can take damage. So, for example, if you aim at a player’s leg and shoot, you will inflict damage. However, if you aim a few inches away from their leg and shoot, you won’t damage them. At least, that’s what should happen.

With Loba, this isn’t always the case, as some fans on Reddit recently found out. Check out the short clip below.

Loba hitbox is having some issue around torso area which can be a problem from apexlegends

As you can see, aiming a few inches off Loba’s chest still inflicts damage, which puts the legend at a big disadvantage. This means that Loba mains take hits more often than they should from errant bullets. Clearly, that’s not supposed to happen.

The problem only seems to occur around her torso, though. So, most likely, this is a bug that made it past testing over at Respawn Entertainment. We’ve seen problems like this pop up in the past with new legends. Usually, Respawn manages to resolve the issue with an update relatively quickly. Hopefully, the same happens in this situation.
