The Fortnite World Cup Finals are approaching. After ten weeks of Online Open competitions, the player pool is now 197. In total, 99 Solo players and 49 Duos play on July 27 and 28 to determine the winners of the $3 million top prize. Overall, Epic Games put up $30 million for the prize pool. The minimum winnings a player walks away with is $50,000.
Until recently, the Fortnite World Cup boasted the largest esports prize pool in the history of gaming. Either way, a massive amount of money is at stake. Players will walk away with life-changing prize money regardless of the end result. Each player earned the right to be there, and now they have the chance to prove they are the best.
