Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 4 is days away and teasers are starting to flood the map. Over the past few days, we’ve seen Epic Games introduce a new teaser every single day. It all started with a new Rift appearing above the Season 3 island. Many believe this is how Thor, and possibly other Marvel characters, will arrive in Fortnite. Next, a series of comic books featuring the God of Thunder dropped in the main menu lobby. As for the latest teaser, Epic Games has stopped messing around and literally dropped the next hint for Season 4, which is Thor’s Hammer.

Thor’s Hammer creates crater in Fortnite

Earlier this morning, players were shocked to see a new location by Salty Springs. However, if you’re familiar with the Thor movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then the location isn’t anything you haven’t seen before.

As seen in the image above, a giant crater has appeared near Salty Springs. Although, the crater isn’t all that’s new. Inside of the giant hole is Mjölnir, Thor’s iconic Hammer. If you’ve seen the original Thor movie, then you know exactly what this is referencing. However, if you haven’t seen the movie, this is essentially a sign that Thor is coming to Fortnite soon.

Obviously, we know that Epic Games is planning to add the superhero in the Season 4 update. In terms of what capacity, we’re not sure. Thor could end up being the Battle Pass skin but this feels like much more than that. With the Rift and comic book showing up and now the crater with Mjölnir, it seems like Thor will play a major role in Season 4.

Tomorrow should unveil a new teaser, so stay tuned for that and all other Fortnite news here at Daily Esports.
