Fall Guys is the newest craze in the online gaming community. The “Ultimate Knockout” title is blowing up on both Twitch and YouTube along with social media. For some reason, a game designed for children has caught the eye of gamers all over the world. Perhaps it’s the desire to get that first win or maybe it’s the simplicity, yet difficulty, of the title that makes you want more. Nevertheless, Season 1 of Fall Guys has gone over great with fans. So, developer Mediatonic has decided to capitalize on the popularity and premiere Fall Guys Season 2 at the Opening Night of Gamescom.

Season 2 of Fall Guys to reveal soon

Many players actually didn’t know that Fall Guys released right into its first season. The free Battle Pass and lack of marketing leading up to the game’s release seems to have fans a bit confused. However, now many know that they’re enjoying Season 1 of their new favorite game.

It’s because of this newfound popularity that the game will be launching into Season 2 very soon. Geoff Keighley, the creator and host of The Game Awards, announced that the season would premiere at the Opening Night of Gamescom 2020.

As the tweet states, the Opening Night is set to begin on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 2 pm ET. You can visit openingnightlive.com to view the event. Unlike previous years, it will only run online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In regards to the Fall Guys Season 2 reveal, not much is known. Although, fans should expect the new Battle Pass to be showcased as well as some new content. This could be additional skins that come to the store, new maps, or even some extra game modes.
