It seems like the ongoing friendly feud between two of Twitch’s top streamers isn’t slowing down. Late last night, Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm let his feelings toward Michael “shroud” Grzesiek be known over an up and coming FPS title.
Shroud is popular not only for his stellar gameplay but his variety streaming style. Frequently dipping his hands in different genres, he’s recently been enjoying an FPS title named Battalion 1944. A mix between CS:GO and Call of Duty, Battalion 1944 has received fair reviews so far.
However, one of those fair reviews did not come from DrDisrespect. Evidently, the Doc doesn’t find the new FPS to be up to par. And since shroud is fond of the game, the Two-Time took to Twitter to let out his rage over his opinion.
The Doc/shroud rivalry marches on
While the two do fire some hilarious insults at each other, the respect is there on both sides. DrDisrespect once called shroud “the best PC player I’ve ever seen.” That said, the Doc never misses an opportunity to roast anyone in the online gaming community.

Obviously, Doc was watching shroud play and enjoy the new FPS, and he found this egregious. He apparently feels the game doesn’t reach his lofty standards, stating “it looks like it was designed in 1944.”
The Two-Time champion goes on to voice his concerns over the future of gaming. According to Doc, if people tout Battalion 1944 as an above-average game, the gaming industry will go downhill.
Shroud has yet to comment on Doc’s video. That said, it’s unlikely that he’ll say anything substantial since he doesn’t normally get too caught up in Twitch drama. We guess we’ll have to wait and see which side is right about Battalion 1944 and the future of gaming.
