The CSGO Blast Pro Series Global Finals to be held in Bahrain in Dec. 12-14 has finally gotten a detailed schedule. The event, with a prize pool of $500,000, will see the champion take home an impressive $350,000. The two-day event will feature only four teams. FaZe Clan, Astralis, NiP, and Team Liquid will compete in best-of-three matches in order to become the Blast Pro Series champion of 2019.

Blast Pro Series Global Finals format in 2019

The Global Finals is a brand new feature in the Blast Pro Series events. The four teams qualified have accumulated the most points over this year’s Blast events, based solely on their placement in the tournaments. Below is a table presenting the standings of the seven teams that have attended this year’s Blast events.

Here is the official event schedule:

Battle for glory

The four teams all have something to prove coming into the tournament. FaZe Clan have failed to make a statement this year but have recently found success with Marcelo “coldzera” David among their ranks at Blast Pro Series Copenhagen. A victory at the event would prove to the world that the new roster was the correct move.

NiP have not secured a victory at Blast this year. However, the currently placed #8 team on the rankings will be out for blood to prove that the veteran team has still got it in them to be a serious threat on the scene.

Team Liquid have looked quite sloppy recently. Despite having a scary start to the year, ever since their failure at the previous Major, the American side has not looked quite like themselves. This will be the territory to prove their stride of greatness was not mere luck.

Finally, Astralis will want to end the year on a good note. Having recently triumphed at IEM Beijing, the current #1 CSGO team in the world will want to attain enough points to finish out the year at the top.
