eUnited leaves the VALORANT esports landscape as the organization dropped its competitive roster on May 28. The team was a solid second tier squad without any major wins to their name. The squad is hoping to stay together and play for another organization according to the players and their coaches. The eUnited organization has not made a public statement at this time.

The eUnited roster consisted of Jason “jmoh” Mohandessi, Tanner “scourge” Kages and Lucas “fiziq” Blow. The other two members Joseph “Joseph” Rivera and Joseph “Turnup” Sicre were benched before the announcement. The team’s two coaches, Kyle “ToKacey” Stevens and Frantic, also expressed interest in staying together with the players.
“As of today, @eUnited has left the VALORANT scene and dropped the whole roster. Absolutely nothing but love towards the org, as they made my first professional stint in esports a great one and I thank them for the opportunity. Team wants to stick together, LFO later,” ToKacey tweeted about the situation.
eUnited in VALORANT
eUnited joined the VALORANT landscape in January of 2021 by signing the ex-Serenity roster. The lineup, previously signed with Serenity, is much the same as it is today. The core of scourge, Joseph and Turnup were all starters, and ToKacey also came along. Ryan “Eazy” Matthews and Antonio “Showtime” Angotti initially signed as well, but Showtime departed for Rize days later. Eazy was benched by the team just a month ago.

Their results in VALORANT were few and far between. As a squad conceived in 2021, they competed in the VALORANT Champions Tour qualification tournaments. They never qualified for the main event and their highest placing was the round of 32. In their three qualification attempts in Stage 1, eUnited lost to Cloud9 White, Frick Ya Bag and FaZe Clan.
Rise and Envy knocked the team out in Stage 2 of VCT. In other tournaments, like the Nerd Street Gamers and Pittsburgh Knights Monthly’s, the quarter finals was their ceiling. They mainly beat amateur and up-and-coming teams but failed to make a dent against top-rated squads. Even against other tier-two teams like Noble, Built By Gamers and Renegades eUnited failed to take wins.
The players and coaches are currently in the market for and organization and plan continue to compete in community tournaments and VCT events. They are competing under the name FPL-C. As eUnited leaves VALORANT, they join the list of organizations like Dignitas and beastcoast that have dropped out of the esport.
