VALORANT Champions Tour Masters 2: Reykjavík has been nonstop action from the beginning. The story of the legendary European kings continues after Fnatic overtook X10 to avoid elimination from the tournament. Fnatic’s youngest member Domagoj “Doma” Fancev had an MVP performance on Sage after going 39/20 overall across the two maps against X10. Doma spoke about his versatility on different agents and how much he loves playing Sage.
“I love Sage,” said Doma. “I think she’s like a duelist until you get her ultimate which is her res. Then I just bait because I know I have res. It feels good, I’m a flex player right now. Omen, Sage, and any other agents.”
There isn’t any one agent that Doma plays for Fnatic. He has played Omen, Brimstone, and Raze in the past, but has also played more support-geared characters like Sage. For the moment, he seems to be most comfortable supporting his team as a Sage main. However, he utilizes Sage in ways that make her feel as impactful as some duelists do. After Fnatic’s 2-0 over X10 they moved on in the lower bracket to face off against Version1, who were taken down by NUTURN Gaming. Fnatic’s European counterparts Team Liquid were bested by Version1 in the tournament, which means Fnatic will have to prove themselves as the better team.
