The live broadcasts for the Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 playoffs will kick off on Oct. 8. A prize pool of $34,500 is on the line.

Over the course of seven weeks, competitors duked it out against each other to gain points. After the end of the final week, the top eight players of each region earned a spot in the playoffs.

The Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 playoffs will feature the Conquest format, which involves each competitor bringing four unique classes and four decks into the fray. Under this format, each competitor also gets to ban one deck from their opponent.

Where to watch the Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 playoffs and what to expect

To catch the action, Hearthstone fans can head on over to YouTube between Oct. 8 and 10. The Asia-Pacific matches will be broadcast live at 5 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the European region will begin at 10 a.m. ET. Hearthstone Grandmasters Americas’ broadcast will start at 3 p.m. ET.

The casters for this tournament will be Alex “Raven” Baguley, Darroch “Darroch” Brown, Jia “Jia” Dee, Neil “Lorinda” Bond, Simon “Sottle” Welch and TJ “Azumoqt” Sanders.

Listed below are each region’s top eight players who will compete in the event:

Asia-Pacific Posesi, Alutemu, GivePLZ, AlanC86, Surrender, glory, grr and Shaxy.
Europe Gaby, Frenetic, Seiko, xBlyzes, Bunnyhoppor, Jarla, Felkeine and Rdu.
Americas Monsanto, Nalguidan, DreadEye, Fled, Lnguagehackr, muzzy, DimitriKazov and McBanterFace.

Hearthstone players did their best over the course of seven weeks. However, the bottom four competitors of each region got relegated to the sidelines. These players can still earn a promotion to the 2022 Hearthstone Grandmasters Season 1 tournaments if they get enough points through Masters Tour Strormwind and Masters Tour Undercity:

United in Stormwind card packs

Hearthstone fans can earn up to two United in Stormwind card packs during the playoffs. One must watch two hours to get their first card pack, and two more hours to receive another one.

To get these YouTube drops, one must first connect their YouTube and Battle.net accounts. This can be done by visiting the “Connected Apps” section and pressing the “Connect” button next to Battle.net.
