The VALORANT Champions Tour brings in analysts from Masters Berlin as on-air talent for Europe, the Middle East and Africa’s Game Changers. On Sept. 29 the on-air talent for the first EMEA Game Changers was announced. The lineup is stacked with talent coming directly off of the major tournament with the addition of VALORANT professional player Adam “ec1s” Eccles who joins the desk as well.
Yinsu Collins on EMEA Game Changers
Yinsu Collins, who recently hosted Masters Berlin and was invited to be one of the on-air talents for Game Changers, had a lot to say about the growth of the scene. As someone who is a prominent figure in the EMEA VALORANT scene, she said she is excited to see Game Changers reach outside of North America.
“Masters was a great experience and I believe having two days of broadcast for Game Changers is a good start in growing the female scene,” Collins said. “Although it would have been nice to broadcast the entire tournament and I’m hoping Riot has plans to do so in the future. I’ve worked with all of the talents already for this event and it’s definitely a strong lineup for the semifinals and final.”
There is a considerable lack of planned streamed content available for the event. Many of the Game Changers competitors in EMEA have been encouraged to stream their own point of view throughout the tournament. Outside of players streaming the games themselves, only the semifinals and finals of Game Changers for EMEA will be streamed.
Where to watch EMEA Game Changers
The round-robin for Game Changers in EMEA began on Sept. 27 with 49 teams all battling it out for the chance to advance to the main portion of the tournament. Only one team from each group was allowed to advance. The main event between the top 16 teams begins on Sept. 30 with the first round of matches.
When the teams advance to the semifinals on Oct 2, the games will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube. The tournament will broadcast on the main Riot Games VALORANT channel for both platforms. Matches begin at 1 p.m. ET on Oct. 2.
