League Play is the highest level of competition for online play in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Thanks to its highly competitive nature, players are always looking for the best guns and loadouts to use in order to gain an edge over their opponent. While the Krig 6 is still at the top of meta for assault rifles, the AK-47 is right behind it.
The AK-47 is one of the best weapons in multiplayer; so much so that professional players actually banned it in CDL play, which pole-vaulted the Krig 6 to its meta status. The AK is an overpowering weapon with the right loadout and there’s no better place to make use of it than in League Play.
Best AK-47 loadout in Black Ops Cold War League Play
The main reason that pros had banned the AK-47 in the CDL is because it doesn’t have many negatives. As such, it features tremendous damage output, almost no recoil and great mobility for an assault rifle. However, despite these strengths, the gun’s recommended loadout will still boost these areas, and others, to make it a force in competitive play.

This loadout makes use of the Gunfighter Wildcard in Black Ops Cold War to gain three extra attachments. While not necessary, it’s important for the AK-47 because it needs an optic equipped. The Microflex LED is a popular pick but it’s mainly personal preference between that and the Millstop Reflex.
The rest of the loadout is standard for competitive play. Recoil is managed with the muzzle and underbarrel and mobility is increased with the handle and stock. The final attachments, the 20″ Liberator and Steady Aim Laser, respectively increase bullet velocity and hip-fire accuracy.
No matter what the other team is using in League Play, this AK-47 loadout will be able to match anything that players may come across.
