Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season two is fully underway and all of the new content is up for grabs. While the cosmetics and other items in Season two are worthwhile in their own right, the season’s new weapons are the highlight for most players. The two weapons featured on the Season two Battle Pass are the LC10 submachine gun and the FARA 83 assault rifle. You can view how to unlock these weapons in our previous article. For today, we’ll specifically be looking at the LC10; outlining the best loadout and how to effectively use the versatile SMG.

The best loadout for the LC10

As the gun’s description states, the LC10 is a balanced SMG that features a high damage range and low recoil. Its bullet velocity is closer to an assault rifle but, as many players have found, that doesn’t diminish the weapon’s effectiveness.

However, there are some areas in which the LC10 can be improved. There are a plethora of LC10 loadouts and attachments that you can use to boost these areas, but one loadout stands out from the rest. We’ve decided to opt against using the Gunfighter Wildcard, meaning the loadout will only feature the base five attachments.

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 13.9″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Ammunition: Fast Mag
  • Stock: Raider Stock

This LC10 loadout, in particular, maximizes damage by utilizing the Agency Suppressor and 13.9″ Task Force Barrel. The recoil will also be reduced with the Agency Suppressor along with the Field Agent Grip. Less recoil means missing fewer shots. This is why the Fast Mag is a prime choice over one of the larger magazine attachments. Lastly, the Raider Stock allows pulling up a gun quicker but it doesn’t sacrifice too much accuracy.

The optimal situation in which to use this LC10 loadout is on a close-quarters map like Nuketown or Apocalypse. While the SMG is serviceable at medium range, like most SMGs it suffers at long range. However, if the distance between shooter and the enemy is between 30 and 40 meters, one should have no problem dropping high-kill games in Black Ops Cold War Season 2.
