We’re just a little over a week away from the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Launching on November 13, the 2021 Call of Duty League also kicks off. While matches don’t start until next year, teams will start practicing and playing as if the season has begun. Though some rosters aren’t set as of yet, most are and the others should follow suit once the game releases. However, one team that is not set, far from it, is the Paris Legion. An underwhelming team in 2020, the Legion is reportedly clueless about the upcoming season in regards to what players they should sign. Of course, this doesn’t mean players’ names haven’t been linked to them.

What players are the Paris Legion looking at for 2021?

Up to this point, the Paris Legion has only cut its roster from 2020. The entire squad, including substitutes, are or were free agents for the 2021 CDL. However, they remain the only organization to not make a single roster move for 2021.

A little troubling to say the least, we’ve heard very little from the European team during the offseason. Insiders are even stumped as to who could possibly sign with the squad now that we’re so close to Black Ops Cold War. Although, one insider, CDL Intel, has claimed that a few big names could eventually sign with Paris.

Here are the following names linked to the Paris Legion according to CDL Intel:

  • Skrapz
  • Wuskin
  • Slacked
  • Rated
  • Pred
  • Jimbo
  • Zed
  • Denz
  • Wailers
  • Breszy

There are definitely some notable names here, like Slacked, Wuskin, Skrapz, Rated, and Wailers. However, it stands to reason that Skrapz and Wuskin are out of the running based on their latest tweets. Slacked also recently tweeted that the offseason hasn’t gone according to plan, so he’s also up in the air.

At this point, it’s logical to think that Paris might be left with a roster of outcasts. Big names in Call of Duty are still free agents, but they simply weren’t picked up by the top teams for whatever reason.

One interesting thing to note is four top players, GodRx, Maux, Pandur, and Kismet, recently signed with a CDL Challengers team. If these players weren’t picked up by Paris, some pros might believe Challengers is the better option than signing with the Legion.
