The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War worldwide multiplayer reveal takes place this Wednesday on September 9. This will be the first *official* time we’re seeing multiplayer gameplay of the new entry in the franchise. Of course, some leaked gameplay did pop up last week so there are fewer surprises in store than Activision would have liked. Nonetheless, the event should confirm many aspects of the mode and offer some insights into what Treyarch has planned. Here’s what you can expect from the reveal and how to watch it.

The Black Ops Cold War multiplayer reveal

This Wednesday should be a very exciting time for Call of Duty fans around the world. Activision usually puts on quite the event for the multiplayer mode and Black Ops Cold War should be no different. It’s been confirmed that the reveal won’t just feature a trailer. Two prominent casters, Clint “Maven” Evans and Joe “MerK” De Luca, are hosting what should be an action-packed event.

In the past, we’ve seen the hosts talk to the developers of the new game. In this case, we should hear from several Treyarch executives like multiplayer designer David Vonderhaar. The developers will presumably go over the creation of the mode then show off some specific gameplay. This should also be accompanied by a tour of the Create-A-Class, menu, etc.

After the event has concluded, fans can choose to watch any number of content creators for official Black Ops Cold War gameplay. The creators were invited to a capture event last week where they got to play the mode early and record some straight-up gameplay.

If you’re looking to tune in to the reveal, it takes place on Wednesday, September 9 at 1 pm ET/10 am PT. You can watch on Twitch.TV/CallOfDuty or the official YouTube channel.

Daily Esports will have every bit of news from the reveal and subsequent gameplay, so stay tuned!
