The Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 3 Week 7 challenges released this morning and the tasks are tougher than usual. While there are some fairly standard challenges, a few have players running all over the map to earn that coveted Battle Pass XP. A part of this wild goose chase is a challenge that requires players to find three balls of yarn at Catty Corner. Though this isn’t the toughest task on the list, it can certainly give you trouble if you don’t know where to look. Luckily, we know exactly where to find the balls of yarn.

Balls of Yarn in Fortnite

In order to find the balls of yarn, you must, of course, head over to Catty Corner. This POI is located in the southeastern part of the Season 3 map and is sometimes fairly populated thanks to its high chest spawn rate. So, you might have some company while looking for the balls of yarn.

The easiest way to avoid dying and being sent back to the lobby is not landing directly in Catty Corner. Instead, land outside of the location and pick up the balls of yarn as the other players fight it out. If you’re wondering where you can find the yarn, check out the descriptions below:

  • On the top floor of the gas station located at the bottom of Catty Corner
  • Outside of the gas station near the stairs
  • On top of the metal structure just west of Catty Corner
  • Inside of the green container above the vault towards the northwest of Catty Corner

Though there are four balls of yarn in total, only three are needed for this challenge. Simply collect the three easiest ones, and this Fortnite Week 7 challenge is complete! The Battle Pass XP will be awarded to you automatically the next time you enter the Fortnite lobby.
